THE BEGINNING RSE, inc. began with a desire for quality, accurate engineering designs that would not labor the project managers and contracting professionals.
Rod's career began in research and development at Motorola in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He learned a lot about quality designs from one of the premier quality product companies in the world. He then worked in research and development for SONY of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Rod worked on a small team and had the priviledge of working with a British engineer and developed from concept to production in 18 months the SONY MXP 2000 Audio Broadcast mixing console. This console had the highest reliability, quality, demand, and profit margin of any product in the facility and was one of the easiest products to produce.
Rod moved back home to Northwest Florida to raise a family and gained employment with the Naval Air Station Whiting Field as a Facility Project Engineer. He had worked in electronics till this time but his position here enabled him to be involved in facility designs and the associated construction. After 7 years of facility project management, Rod was able to apply the lessons learned to his own designs.
In January of 1995, with a drive for independence, Rod began his own business.
"Rod's designs with more intensity than any other electrical engineer I have ever worked with." Don Carlos, Graves and Carlos (AKA Stoa Carlos) "Rod's lighting designs and luminaire tables are in the top 5% as far as accuracy among engineers." Dawn Carney,BEE, AMA of Mobile
